TWO AND THREE DAY HUNTS

As you group arrives, you will be checked into the Ramkota, a full-service lodging facility, in Pierre, SD. For those arriving at the Pierre Airport, transportation to the Ramkota will be waiting as they depart their flight. Breakfast at the Ramkota, the next morning, is covered and begins at 7:00am.

We’ll be by around 9:00am to check on your group and see if there’s anything anyone needs. This will also give you a good chance to become acquainted with the guides and dogs assigned to your group.

Around 11:00am your group will head for the first of many hunting areas you will be working over the next few days. Around 2:00pm we’ll break for lunch and have some time to discuss the morning’s results and becoming better acquainted with everyone in your party.

After lunch we’ll be back in the field until an hour before sunset or at the point that everyone has bagged their limit, whichever comes first. Your birds will be individually tagged and taken to the processor to be cleaned and bagged while you retire to the Ramkota for dinner and given an opportunity to explore the nightlife that Pierre has to offer.

On the last day of your hunt we will conclude at approximately 4:00pm to give the processor an opportunity to clean and bag the day’s birds as well as package them for your return home the following day.

• Arrival and departure transportation will be provided.
• The Ramkota shuttle will provide worry-free transportation in the evenings.
• The Ramkota shuttle will be provided 3 or 4 nights lodging (package dependant) at the Ramkota together with breakfast and lunch each day.
• In addition to guiding your group in the field, our staff will remain immediately available to assist with any needs that may arise. They are just about the friendliest bunch of guys you would ever want to know!
